A Hill Country Wedding – Janet & Josh

Janet and Josh had a beautiful all day affair. Janet began her prep at a hotel while Josh arrived at the church. After a beautiful ceremony and some family photos at the church, we drove out to a georgous hill country ranch for the reception. The ranch is the private residence of a family friend and was a great place for photos – the architecture of the residence, the beautiful hill country, and even a pool!

Persian Wedding at Omni Hotel – Mariam & Babak

Mariam and Babak’s wedding had a little of everything! We had already taken their wedding portraits several days before the wedding at Laguna Gloria, you can see them here, but there was still plenty going on! We started with Mariam at the salon, then as she finished getting ready at the hotel, the guys took a trip down to 6th Street, family photos at the Capitol, a traditional Western style ceremony, a beautiful Persian ceremony, a knife dance, and even a downtown carriage ride! Thanks to Mariam and Babak for including us in a fun and beautiful wedding!

Wedding Portraits at Laguna Gloria

We photographed Mariam and Babak’s wedding portraits several days before the actual wedding day. It was a great experience! Doing the shoot on it’s own day gave us more time with the couple for their portraits and also more time for other photos on the wedding day. Mariam chose AMOA’s Laguna Gloria for the shoot – a beautiful place for both indoor and outdoor photos that stay fairly green even during the fall and winter months.

Engagement Session – Downtown Austin

A fun engagement session in downtown Austin with Salina and Joseph. Some of the locations we hit included the Alamo Ritz movie theater on 6th Street, the Gingerman bar, Mozart’s Coffee Shop, the city hall, and the W Hotel, and Salina made a “Honk 4 Love” sign for the motorists on Congress and Guadalupe!

Giddings Stone Mansion Wedding – Erin + Bobby

Erin and Bobby held a beautiful ceremony and reception in Brenham, TX. Erin began the day with her mother at local salon where the ladies got their hair done. We then headed over to the gorgeous and historical Giddings Stone Mansion where Erin finished getting ready. Once ready we did a quick bridal shoot in the mansion before heading to the Brenham Presbyterian Church. The men met us at the church, and while Erin stayed with her girls, they passed the time with a serious game of dominoes.

After the ceremony everyone headed over to the Giddings Stone Mansion for the reception. Scrabble letters marked the refreshments, the grooms cake was an upright right full length Yoda – complete with light saber – and we set up a photo booth for the guests!

At the end, Erin and Bobby were sent off in a classic Chevy on sunny summer day!

Hummingbird House Wedding – Heather + Trent

Our first wedding at Hummingbird House was so much fun! Heather and Trent had a great day planned and made sure to schedule plenty of time for all the portraits and group photos – we love clients like that!

While the women sipped champagne in their monogrammed robes, the men enjoyed a few cigars to mark the occasion. Despite the record heat and drought, Danny and his team kept Hummingbird House green and beautiful for their summer brides. After the ceremony and formal pictures we headed to the reception for a great party with a live band! A few more pictures with the happy couple in the trees wrapped with lights – then we sent them off! Congrats to Heather and Trent!
